HERSTORY MENTORSHIP

It’s our mission

to strengthen and protect the mental wellness of adolescent girls. Her Story Mentorship provides evidence based programs that help teens build positive self identity through the discovery and development of purpose while teaching skills that cultivate intentional social media use.

We work with teens who identify as girls, non-binary and gender expansive.

OUR WHY.

Teen girls are facing a mental health crisis.

The statistics show that suicide rates are skyrocketing. Compared to the first decade of the century, rates have increased by 151% for girls between the ages of 10-14 and 70% for girls ages 15-19 (The Social Dilemma).

Research shows that teens who seek purpose find higher levels of life satisfaction and happiness, are more resilient and healthier. Developing purpose can serve as a protective factor, helping to mitigate risk against depression and attempted suicide (Stanford Center of Adolescence).

As advocates, educators and entrepreneurs we know solutions are possible. As dedicated and passionate women, we are committed to providing one.

OUR SOLUTION.

Experience Digital Wellness.

We partner with women in leadership and companies that support youth mental health initiatives to offer free digital wellness events for adolescents in middle school and high school. Teens will have the opportunity to meet influential young women in their community to learn about how they experience and navigate social media. They will also participate in our workshop reflecting on their own experiences and relationship with social media and screens. More information about our Experience Digital Wellness Workshop can be found here.

Experience Entrepreneurship.

In collaboration with our camp partners, teens are offered an immersive experience where they will learn how to turn their strengths and passions into a purpose-driven business or idea. More information about our Experience Entrepreneurship Program can be found here.

Together we can change the statistics.

Your support ensures that girls will continue to be enrolled in our program and workshops.
