“Purpose is one of the most important but overlooked aspects of adolescent development. As a parent and educator, you cannot give a child their own sense of purpose. But what you can do is give them experiences that will help them discover their own sense of purpose.

-William Damon, Director of Stanford Center of Adolescence

Our Story

Formed by a group of passionate women entrepreneurs, mental health advocates and educators, we originated as Her Story Mentorship, a non profit organization with a mission to strengthen and protect the mental wellness of adolescent girls.

Your Story Mentorship emerged as an extension of Her Story’s mission, creating access to our program and workshop for teens across the gender spectrum.

Our mentorship program is designed for educators and youth leaders to help teens during our current teen mental health crisis. We offer a unique approach to help teens build positive self identity through the discovery and development of purpose. Our program is centered around mission based entrepreneurship and our student led workshop emphasizes how to engage with social media in a more meaningful way.
